Busy Gyeongnam, Jeollanam-do with a long way to go… Asan wins against Anyang

Jeonnam Dragons of Pro Football K-League 2 (Second Division) overcame numerical inferiority and defeated Gyeongnam FC. Chungnam Asan achieved a come-from-behind victory over FC Anyang. Bucheon FC and Gimpo FC drew without scoring.

Jeonnam won 3-2 in the away game against Gyeongnam in the 31st round of Hana One Q K League 2 2023 held at Changwon Soccer Center on the 17th.

With this victory, Jeonnam broke a 3-game winless streak (1 draw, 2 losses). Jeonnam maintained 8th place with 41 points from 12 wins, 5 draws, and 12 losses.

Gyeongnam, which lost, remained in 5th place with 45 points from 12 wins, 9 draws, and 7 losses.

In the 26th minute of the first half, Jeonnam Yoo Ji-ha scored the first goal with a header from a corner kick, and Gyeongnam Mo Jae-hyun tied the game 1-1 with a right-footed shot after dribbling in the 36th minute of the first half.

Asan ended its three-game losing streak. Asan rose from 11th to 10th place with 33 points from 9 wins, 6 draws, and 13 losses.

Anyang suffered three consecutive losses. Anyang maintained 7th place with 42 points from 12 wins, 6 draws, and 10 losses.

Anyang Moon Seong-woo scored the first goal in the 6th minute of the first half, but Asan turned the game around within the first half. Kim Kang-guk scored consecutive goals in the 27th minute of the first half, and Kang Min-gyu scored consecutive goals in the 39th minute of the first half.

Anyang brought the score back to 3-2 with consecutive goals by Joo Hyun-woo in the 4th minute of the second half and Hong Chang-beom in the 10th minute of the second half. At the end of the second half, when Anyang was likely to win, Asan turned the game around again. Dae-Hoon Park scored in the 44th minute of the second half, followed by Seong-Woo Park in the 45th minute of the second half, scoring a dramatic winning goal to make it 4-3.

The Bucheon FC-Gimpo FC match held at Bucheon Stadium ended in a 0-0 draw.

Gimpo ended its two-game winning streak. Gimpo maintained 4th place with 49 points from 13 wins, 10 draws, and 6 losses.

Bucheon also ended its winning streak at three games. Bucheon had 14 wins, 7 draws, 8 losses, and 49 points, equaling Gimpo’s points, but maintained third place in terms of multiple points.
